Insurance & Payment

Insurance We Accept.

We're in-network with major insurance carriers and we verify your benefits before your first visit — so you know your out-of-pocket costs upfront. No surprises at checkout.

In-Network Carriers

Aetna

We're in-network for most Aetna commercial plans including PPO and HMO plans. Coverage varies by plan — we'll verify your specific benefits before your first visit.

UnitedHealthcare

We're in-network with UnitedHealthcare commercial plans. UHC is one of the most common plans in the Johnson County area — if you have UHC through your employer, you're likely covered.

Auto Insurance (PIP)

Injured in a car accident? We bill personal injury protection (PIP) and work with most auto insurance carriers. We also accept treatment on lien for qualifying patients — meaning no out-of-pocket costs until your case settles. Learn more about auto injury care →

Self-Pay / Cash Rates

No insurance? High deductible? Our transparent cash rates are disclosed before your first visit and are often comparable to — or less than — a standard insurance copay. No hidden fees, no financial pressure.

Not sure if your plan is covered?

Text us at (913) 488-3233 with your insurance carrier and plan name. We'll verify your benefits and let you know your estimated out-of-pocket cost before you come in.

If Your Insurance Isn't Listed

Out-of-network doesn't mean out of reach.

We're not in-network with every carrier — BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Medicare, and some others are not currently on our panel. If that's your situation, you have two practical options.

First, some out-of-network plans still pay a portion of chiropractic care through their out-of-network benefits. We can provide a superbill you can submit directly to your insurer for potential reimbursement. The amount varies by plan, but it's worth checking.

Second, our cash rates are transparent and predictable. Many patients find that paying directly — rather than routing through insurance — is actually simpler and comparable in cost. We'll give you a clear number before your first visit so you can make an informed decision.

How Insurance Works Here

01

We verify your benefits

Before your first appointment, we contact your insurer directly to confirm your coverage, deductible status, and estimated copay. You'll know what to expect before you walk in the door.

02

We handle the billing

We bill your insurance directly after each visit. You pay your copay or coinsurance at the time of service — the rest is handled on our end. No paperwork for you to submit.

03

No hidden surprises

If anything changes — your deductible resets, your benefits are exhausted, or your plan changes — we'll let you know before it affects your bill. Transparency is part of how we operate.

Common Questions

Most plans cover a portion of chiropractic visits with a copay or coinsurance, after your deductible is met. Many plans have a visit limit per year — commonly 20 to 30 visits. We verify these details for your specific plan before your first visit so there are no surprises.
If your deductible hasn't been met, you'll pay our contracted insurance rate — not the full retail rate — until it is. We'll tell you exactly what that rate is before your first visit. Some patients in this situation find it simpler to use our cash rate instead, which is often comparable. We'll lay out both options and let you decide.
Kansas is a direct-access state, so you don't need a physician referral to see a chiropractor. Most insurance plans reflect this and don't require one either — but a small number of HMO plans do. We'll flag this when we verify your benefits so you're not caught off guard.
Yes. Chiropractic care is an IRS-qualified medical expense, so HSA and FSA funds can be used for copays, deductibles, and cash-pay visits. This is true regardless of whether you have insurance coverage or not. Just use your HSA/FSA card at the time of service.
No. We don't require pre-payment packages or financial commitments before you start. We'll give you a clear care recommendation and let you decide how you want to proceed — visit by visit, or as a structured plan. You're in control.
